“Shine Your Light” is a UK & Ireland campaign to encourage as many Christians as possible to take the Christmas message out into public places on the weekend of the 14th December. Last year they recorded 75,000 Christian participants from 700 churches. Endorsement for the event came from church and governmental leaders and was highlighted by many media outlets.
In support of this year’s bid to record attendance of 100,000 participants nationwide, Blairgowrie Parish Church invites you to gather at 2pm on Saturday 14th December in the Wellmeadow (or in the Parish Church Hall if the weather is bad) to sing carols and narrate the Christmas story from scripture. Hot drinks and mince pies will be served in the Church Hall afterwards.
Although there is no need to rehearse well-known carols, Keith Redwood will lead a “sing through” in the Blairgowrie Parish Church Hall at 6pm on Sunday 1st December. All are welcome.
Let us join together to put Christ back at the centre of Christmas.
