‘Worship God…’ ( Rev. 22:9)

Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, please take time each day to worship the Lord and give Him the praise, honour and glory that He is due.

‘Lord I believe – help me in my unbelief…’ (Mark 9:24)

No matter how strong we believe our faith to be, there will always be times when we have questions, doubts or concerns which may impact upon our faith. Pray that the Lord gives you the strength to not only hold on to your faith when these times come, but also grow in faith, knowing that He is always with you.

‘God is love…’ (1 John 4:16)

God is not only loving, God not only teaches us and shows us how to love through His Son – God is love. So allow God to embrace you in the love He has shown in His Son and pours upon us each ay through His Spirit – and then share this love with others.

‘We trust not in ourselves but in God who delivered us…’ (2 Cor. 1:9)

How easily do we put our faith trust in God each and every day? Do we only call on God when we feel we need too, when we have no other option, when all else has failed? Paul reminds us here that our trust should be placed in the Lord at all times, so pray for the faith to do so.

‘Give us this day our daily bread…’ (Luke 11:3)

Give thanks to God each day for all of His provision to us, for all that we need for mind, body and soul. Help us to remember those who are less fortunate than we are and to be more sharing with all that God has given to us.

‘…may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you…’ (Psalm 40:16)

To know the Lord in your life is the most wonderful thing of all. So pray today for those who do not yet know Him, that during this season of Pentecost the Spirit of the Lord may move in a mighty and powerful way, drawing more people to Him to know His love for themselves.

‘But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ…'(2 Peter 3:18)

As we live out our lives each day, let’s never forget that we do so by the grace of our Lord. It is through the grace of God in the giving of His one and only Son that we are able to enjoy life now and for all eternity. Praise be to God!

‘I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers…’ (Philemon 1:4)

Who are we remembering in our prayers today?

‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people…’ (Acts 2:17)

As we continue through this time of Pentecost and celebrate the outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit upon us, pray that this same Spirit will guide you in all you think, say and do, that at all times you may bear witness to our Lord and glorify His name.

‘I am with you always, even till the end of the world…’ (Matt. 28:20)

As we go about our busy day, take comfort and strength in the knowledge that by His Spirit, the Lord is with us at all times.
