Daily Prayer

By Reflections

‘Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you…’ (Psalm 84:12)

Lord, help us to be more faithful and to put our trust in you at all times.

Daily Prayer

‘Maintain justice and do what is right…’ (Isaiah 56:1)

Pray for all those in positions of authority and leadership in our land, that they would at all times seek to do what is good, right and just, according to the Word of God.

Daily Prayer

‘How deep the Father’s love for us…’

The words of this well known hymn remind us that through His Son God has shown us just how great His love is for us and as followers of Jesus we are called to share that love with others at all times. Yet today there are so many in the world who feel unloved. Pray that God’s love may be revealed to them today, however that may be.

Daily Prayer

By Reflections

‘…blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed…’

Pray today for all who doubt because they see no ‘evidence’ for themselves of God in our world. Pray that their hearts, minds and souls might be open to the work of the Holy Spirit within them, that they would discover all the evidence they need and come to know the Lord themselves.

Daily Prayer

By Reflections

‘….stop doubting and believe…’ John 20:27

What is it in our own lives that may lead to us having doubts about our Lord. Pray that He will reveal Himself to you through the Holy Spirit that your doubts may be quelled.

Daily Prayer

I will proclaim the glory of the Risen Lord…

The opening words of the second verse of that well know Easter hymn, All Heaven Declares, lays upon us all a commitment to bear witness to the Risen Lord. So let’s ask the Lord for the words to say and the things we can do as we seek to do just this – to proclaim the glory of the Risen Lord.

Daily Prayer

By Reflections

‘But these are written that you may believe Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name…’ (John 20:31)

Pray for those you know who have yet to come to faith in the Lord, that they too may come to believe and have life in His name.

Daily Prayer

By Reflections

‘There is a Redeemer, Jesus God’s own Son…’

Take time today to not only read the words of this well known hymn of praise, but also to allow the words to reach into your hearts and souls – then pray that others may know the joy of the Risen Christ in their lives too, perhaps thinking especially of someone known to you. Amen.

Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news; ‘I have seen the Lord!’..;(John 20:18)

Praise God for His great love for us in giving His one and only Son as our Saviour. Pray that like Mary we may share this good news to all whom we know that they too may know this Easter blessing – every day of their lives.
